After making fans concerned with a now-deleted Instagram story, Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan has now made an emotional post. For those who don’t remember, on Tuesday, April 23, Babil shared a cryptic post on his Instagram stories about giving up. Now, ahead of Irrfan’s fourth death anniversary (April 29), his son posted a heartfelt tribute to his late father.

On Saturday, Babil posted a short note remembering Irrfan teaching him to be a ‘warrior’ and promised him he would ‘not give up,’ Scroll below to read his post and fans’ responses to it. 

Babil Khan emotional post

A couple of hours ago, Babil posted several photos of Irrfan Khan on Instagram alongside an emotional note. The post – which also included an image of the late actor from the sets of his last film, Angrezi Medium, was captioned, “You taught me to be a warrior, but engage with love and kindness. You taught me of hope and you taught me to fight for the people. You do not have fans, you have a family, and I promise you baba I will fight for our people and our family till you call upon me. I will not give up. I love you so much. (sic)”

Commenting on the post, one fan wrote, “u not giving up, is all he would have wanted.” Another added, “He must be so proud of you..and may be smiling and caressing your curls.” One more wrote, “Babul Ur a lovely son.. but U need to let go of Ur papa.. he’s now in a different place that doesn’t involve U.. U don’t owe him anything, U don’t have to keep promises either. U be true to urself and live Ur life to the fullest for URSELF not for anyone dead or alive. Past belongs to yesterday, present had no place in it. U beautiful soul.. find Ur purpose and live for UR liberation.”

One fan even worriedly asked him “Bhai sab theek hai Naa? Worried for uh form few days @babil.i.k Pls update here all good for your all fans. (sic)” Responding to his, the actor wrote, “im all good brother, I have just been missing him way too much.”

Babil’s deleted post

On Tuesday, April 23, the ‘Qala’ actor allegedly posted a single line to his Instagram Stories that got fans concerned. The now-deleted post read, “Sometimes I feel like giving up and going to Baba.”
